She later studied with several famous teachers and choregrapher such as Fifi Abdo or Essam (from the Mahmoud Reda Troup). As a child she used to perform during family parties but for the past 20 years, she has dedicated herself exclusively to teaching the traditionnal art of oriental dance. Although she sometimes still performs in cultural events.

By practicing a pure oriental folklore, khadija wishes to offer North American the chance to discover middle eastern art and culture. Tywalline’s repertory includes folkloric dances originating from all middle eastern cultures such as : kabyles (Algeria), khaliji (Gulf region), sharki, saidi, Nubian and Haggallah (Egypt), as well as morroccan danses.

Khadija Jabiry is the artistic director and the choregrapher of Baladi et danses de l'Orient: Tywalline, a dance company she has founded in 1999. In September 2004, Kadija has co-founded her own dance school “Al-Madrassa” with Jaouahir (Cristina-Mercier Gouin).
